Police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have arrested a TikToker in Swabi for posting indecent videos while disguising himself as a girl. Officials confirmed on Sunday that the individual, identified as Abdul Mughiz, had been sharing objectionable content on TikTok, which sparked anger in the local community.
According to police spokesperson Liaquat Ali, the videos created “severe resentment and anxiety” among residents. After receiving several complaints, the Bamkhel outpost police launched an operation and arrested Mughiz. A case has been registered against him under the relevant laws.
During interrogation, the accused admitted to his activities and promised to stop such behavior in the future. Authorities said the incident reflects rising concerns about the misuse of social media in rural districts, where cultural values are strongly upheld.
Police have appealed to citizens to report similar content and assured that strict action will be taken against those involved in spreading indecent material online.
