TikTok star Samiya Hijab has claimed that a man from Lahore tried to kidnap her after she rejected his marriage proposal. She also alleged that he has been threatening to kill her for the past three months.
In a video statement shared online, Hijab said the man repeatedly pressured her to marry him despite her refusals.
“First he asked me to marry him. I said no, but he kept following me,” she explained.
She recounted that the man showed up outside her house while her mother was sick and her brother was away. According to Hijab, he attempted to grab her phone, forced her towards his car, and tried to abduct her. “I even have a recording of it,” she added.
Linking it to a Friend’s Tragedy
Hijab recalled the case of her friend Sana Yousaf, another TikToker who was reportedly murdered after rejecting a proposal.
“I don’t want to end up like Sana. I don’t want to be one of those girls who stay silent,” she said.

Police Involvement
Hijab confirmed that Islamabad Police have taken her statement and registered a case. She urged the authorities, including the Inspector General of Police, to act quickly.
“There are so many girls going through the same thing but afraid to speak up,” she stressed, calling for stronger protection for women.
