Timings of Business Activities in Capital Reviewed
Islamabad: The capital government adjusted the times of commercial and business operations in the city in light of the spread of Covid-19.

The capital’s marketplaces and businesses will now close at 6 p.m., according to Assistant Deputy Commissioner (East) Babar Sahibdin. On Saturday and Sunday, all establishments will be closed.
He said that outside dining is permitted from Iftaar until midnight.
According to a notification from the deputy commissioner’s office, all commercial endeavours, markets, and marakiz (less essential services) will be open from Sehr until 6 p.m. on weekdays and closed on Saturday and Sunday.

According to State Bank of Pakistan instructions, banks and money exchangers are also permitted to remain open, according to the notification, which also noted that the 50 percent work-from-home policy will continue in the capital for both public and commercial offices.
The administration will continue to enforce the complete closure of theatres and shrines, organise Taraweeh prayer as much as feasible in public areas, and control all prayers conducted in mosques.
The decree will go into effect today, April 15, and be in effect until May 16.
