TIP Asks Tarin to Review Corruption Allegations Against NBP
Islamabad: Transparent International Pakistan (TIP) has requested Finance Minister Shaukat Tallinn to investigate allegations against the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) in a case related to PPRA rule violations.

According to the details, TIP, in a letter to the Minister of Finance, stated that in 2004, when he awarded a single bidder a contract worth around Rs. I highlighted the alleged violation.
The document shows that the NBP has issued a tender for the document management system ‘DMS’. In August 2018, on November 17th, he had eight bids and the bidding opened on the same day. The bank then announced that he published the valuation report on the PPRA website 19 months later on June 15, 2020.

3 of his 8 bidders did not submit bids and 4 were excluded for failing to meet the specified requirements, after which his 1 bid was accepted by M/s A.S.C. I was. First Solution Pvt. Ltd. was declared the lowest rated bidder.
