TLP Rally Protest is Now Normal in Pakistan
After security personnel apprehended Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) Leader Saad Hussain Rizvi in Lahore as a “pre-emptive action” before the party’s April 20 deadline to the government, protests broke out in all major Pakistani towns.

After the murder, French President Emmanuel Macron slammed Islamists and vowed to continue to publish caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad. The French premier’s remarks were condemned by Prime Minister Imran Khan and other Muslim leaders, and nationwide demonstrations calling for a boycott of French goods were staged.
The TLP requests that “practical steps” be taken by the federal government before “extreme action” is required.

Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi, the former TLP leader, addresses the crowd and calls on the federal government to declare war against France.
The government “totally departed from” the arrangement it had made with the TLP about Namoos-i-Risalat, according to TLP naib emir Syed Zaheerul Hassan Shah.
Informing the worried authorities that the government had “gone back on its pledge” to expel the French ambassador by April 20 and had taken Rizvi into custody, TLP member Khalid Awan.
