Turkish Hotel Managers Association Wants to Invest in Tourism
Atif Bokhari, Minister of State and Chairman of the Board of Investment, was visited by Ali Can Aksu, President of the Tourism Hotel Managers Association of Turkey, and his team at the BOI office to discuss investment opportunities and to offer specialised services and industry knowledge regarding Pakistan.
An association of hotels and tour operators called TUROYD works to support those involved in the tourist sector by ensuring the development and activation of civil society initiatives.

State-owned tourism facilities may be privatised, which might be a great opportunity for TUROYD and other interested investors. He continued by saying that there can be cooperation in creating specialised institutions that provide training for the hotel and service sector.

In his closing remarks, Chairman BOI thanked the group and gave them the assurance that, as the government of Pakistan’s top authority for promoting and facilitating investment, BOI will assist the association in carrying out its objectives in Pakistan.
