The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has halted the issue of three three-month visit visas in a momentous decision. A call center official at the Federal Authority For Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) confirmed it.
He went on to say that the “three-month entry permit was available a few months ago, but not anymore.” However, the option of obtaining a 30- or 60-day visa is still accessible.
Furthermore, travel agencies confirmed it. They claim that the three-month visit visa request option has been deleted from the portal through which they grant permits.
It should be mentioned that when the UAE’s authorities chose to stop the three-month travel visa during the COVID-19 pandemic, the 60-day visa was introduced as an alternative. Later, in May, the three-month plan was revived as a leisure visa.

It is worth noting that, despite the fact that the three-month facility has been discontinued, first-degree relatives of UAE residents can still use it. Residents are permitted to bring their parents or relatives on the three-month scheme, according to the call center executive.
According to Firoz Maliyakkal, founder and CEO of Tahira Tours & Travels, the issuing of long-term leisure visas has been temporarily banned. “The demand for this visa was slightly increasing due to the winter months ahead,” he said.
