The UAE is expecting a major increase in job opportunities in 2025, driven by strong growth in tourism and related sectors. Experts say the country’s friendly policies and stable environment have helped attract both tourists and investors, boosting the economy.
According to a new report by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), the UAE’s tourism sector alone could employ over 925,000 people by the end of 2025.

This growth reflects the UAE’s strong recovery from the pandemic and its ambitious plans for the future. Spending by foreign tourists is projected to reach AED 228.5 billion, far above pre-COVID levels from 2019.
Tourism is also expected to make a big contribution to the national economy—around AED 267.5 billion, which would be nearly 13% of the UAE’s GDP in 2025.
The WTTC, which represents travel businesses globally, praised the UAE’s leadership and vision. With this momentum, the country is on track to become an even bigger hub for tourism, investment, and jobs, offering fresh hope for job seekers and businesses in the coming year.
