The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) of the United Kingdom (UK) has issued a travel advisory advising British nationals ‘against any travel’ to certain parts of Pakistan.
The FCDO has issued a warning against visiting regions close to the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The FCDO is tasked with informing British nationals about potential hazards while going abroad in order to avert unfavorable situations.
“Avoid all travel to within 10 miles of the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan,” the FCDO explicitly recommends in its caution. Parts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are among the other regions that have been declared hazardous for travel.
