According to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Pakistan has achieved a 92% return to pre-pandemic levels in 2023. According to a press release, the nation experienced a healthy return post-Covid-19. It encountered a 115% increase in foreign tourist visits over the prior year.

The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) actively participated in six major international events last year. These events include:
- World Travel Mart London
- ITB Berlin
- New York Travel and Adventure Show
- Arabian Travel Mart Dubai
- Seoul Travel Mart Korea
- Travel Mart in Vietnam
Attending these events plays a vital role for the country in promoting crucial B2B connections with foreign tour operators.

The World Tourism Barometer also included some countries from Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Americas, and the Middle East. These countries include:
