US Embassy in Islamabad Cancels All Visa Appointments

The U.S. Embassy in Islamabad has cancelled all immigrant and non-immigrant visa appointments scheduled between March 9 and March 13.

According to an official announcement, applicants affected by the cancellations will receive email instructions with details about rescheduling their appointments.

Despite the temporary suspension of visa appointments, the embassy confirmed that it will continue providing routine and emergency consular services to U.S. citizens in Islamabad.

The notice also stated that consular services at the U.S. Consulate General Karachi and the U.S. Consulate General Lahore remain suspended. Authorities have not yet announced a timeline for when operations at these consulates will resume.

Applicants have been advised to regularly check their email for updates regarding new appointment dates and further instructions.
