The United States has reaffirmed its commitment to support Pakistan Railways with investment and modern infrastructure projects.
The announcement came after a meeting in Islamabad between Federal Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi and U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker. The two discussed strengthening bilateral ties, expanding cooperation in the railway sector, and exploring opportunities for American investment.
Abbasi described railways as a lifeline connecting Pakistan’s four provinces and said modernisation is vital for the country’s progress. Baker assured U.S. support in developing modern projects, with both sides agreeing to build closer cooperation.
