Most districts of the province, including Peshawar, are expected to experience partly cloudy and very cold weather, while upper and mountainous regions are likely to remain severely cold, according to the latest forecast issued by the Meteorological Department.
The department said that Chitral (Upper and Lower), Upper Dir, Lower Dir, Bajaur, Mohmand, Abbottabad, and Mansehra may receive rain, while snowfall is expected in the surrounding mountainous areas.
In Battagram, Kohistan, Torghar, Buner, Shangla, Swat, and nearby regions, isolated rain is likely, with snowfall on higher elevations.
Meanwhile, fog is expected during early morning and nighttime hours in the plains, including Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Karak, and Bannu, which may reduce visibility and affect travel conditions.
