WhatsApp guarantees users that their private messages and calls are encrypted from start to finish. The company stressed that personal communications are unaffected by these modifications, mainly applicable to company-related exchanges. 

Phone numbers and IP addresses are among the data that are shared with Facebook to enhance security and customize services. WhatsApp puts pressure on. Nevertheless, contact lists are not exchanged. Limited data exchange with Facebook may be necessary for business-related messages. Still, WhatsApp will not display advertisements.
