Work Starts on New Alignment of Ring Road: Commissioner
According to Commissioner Rawalpindi Syed Gulzar Hussain Shah, Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar gave the order to begin construction on the Rawalpindi Ring road project’s new path.

Speaking to a group of representatives from the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) led by President Muhammad Nasir in his office, he said that crucial changes to the Land Acquisition Act are being made to guarantee the timely completion of development projects.
The Commissioner stated that as the business community was the foundation of the national economy, merchants would be given the benefit of the doubt about the proposed Rawal Expressway and industrial zones under the City master plan.

The Chamber has always actively collaborated with the Commissioner’s Office on municipal development projects, according to RCCI President Nasir Mirza.
The Rawalpindi Chamber would offer all forms of aid and collaboration in order to get the Ring Road project completed as soon as possible since it will be a game-changer for the growth of the city, he continued.
