10 Uplift Projects of Rs 96bn Approved by CDWP
According to reports, the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) approved 10 projects worth Rs96,1 billion on Monday in Islamabad. Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan, Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, stated that eight projects are approved, with a total value of Rs30,2 billion. Other two suggested projects are valued at Rs65.9 billion.

The summary is forwarded to the National Economic Council’s Executive Committee (Ecnec). Soon, the projects and their projects will be approved. Under its present financial authority, the CDWP can now accept projects that are less than 10 billion rupees in value.
There are a number of CDWP initiatives that fall within the health sector. Four position papers and one proposal for concept clearance were discussed.

In addition, the CDWP approved the procurement of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment for the Radiology Department at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences for Rs463,450,000,000 (PIMS).
