2,000 Revenue Centers to Be Inaugurated by June-End

By June 21, 2000 rural revenue centers (RRCs), also known as Deh Markaz Maals, will be operational in Punjab. Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Babr Hayat Tarrar stated that the province’s revenue system was being modernized with the use of contemporary technology when he visited the Sammsatta RRC on Saturday.

He said that 761 RRCs had already been set up across the province and would soon be connected to the NADRA system to guarantee the continuous provision of services to the public relating to revenue.

He said that the usage of contemporary technology had increased revenue transparency. Furthermore, several villages had also offered services like mutation and transfer deeds.
