500-KW Grid Station Being Installed
Mian Kashif Ashfaq, chairman of Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIEDMC), stated that a 500KW grid station is being erected on a fast-track basis as a top priority at Allama Iqbal Industrial City, a mega-project under CPEC.

Speaking to a delegation of investors, he stated that he had a productive meeting with FESCO Chief Executive Bashir Ahmad, who stated that the construction of the grid is underway under the supervision of a team of highly qualified engineers, and that they hoped to complete this task well in advance of schedule.
Mian Kashif stated that the general manager of the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline (SNGPL) and his technical teams issued a categorical promise that sanctioned quotas of gas would be made available at the industrial city as soon as the pipelines were laid. He stated that, as wanted by Prime Minister Imran Khan, investors would be given with all services through a single window, including new gas and electrical connections.

The FIEDMC Chief stated that the PM’s Adviser on Commerce, Razak Dawood, and the Minister of Industries in Punjab, Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal, had promised them of their full support and collaboration.
In the first phase, 7 billion rupees have been invested so far in a transparent manner that fully adheres to the laws, and over 20 units have begun production in the area.
