ABD Ready to Play its Part in Gwadar Development
Mr. Muhammad Hanif Memon, Senior Vice Chairman (VC) of the Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD), was quoted in a January 7 news article as saying that the member is playing a significant role in the development of Gwadar. Mr. Vice-Chairman disclosed this information during a meeting at ABAD House presided over by Mujibur Rehman Qambarani, Director General of the Gwadar Development Authority (GDA).

Mr. Qambarani, director general of the GDA, remarked that ABAD can play a vital role in the development of Gwadar. Addressing the meeting participant. The Gwadar Master Plan has been approved, and the controversy surrounding the granting of the NOC will soon be settled. At the meeting were also the ABAD Vice-Chairman Mr. Altaf Kantawala, the Former Chairmen Mr. Arif Jeewa and Junaid Ashraf Taloo, the Chairman of the Southern Region Mr. Sufian Adhia, the Director of Gwadar Town Planning Mr. Shahid Ali, and other significant authorities.
The director general also indicated that the security situation in the city will be improved and that builders and developers will be given top attention. According to ABAD VC Mr. Memon, Gwadar Port plays a significant part in Baluchistan’s growth, and the association plays a significant role in Gwadar’s development.

In addition, he urged that the DG of the GDA provide developers with instructions for issuing NOC, the clearance of the land title, and the establishment of a single-window facility. Mr. Memon announced that ABAD members had acquired property in the city. They acquired their NOCs through the appropriate channels.
