ADB Predicts Pakistan’s 4% Growth Rate in FY22
According to published news from Islamabad, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) forecasts that the country’s growth will reach 4% in Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22) once commercial activity restarts slowly in the second year of COVID-19.

According to the Asian Development Outlook 2021 Update, economic growth forecasts a recovery in private investment as business activity and consumer confidence increase as a result of a number of budget-announced economic stimulus measures and a robust vaccine rollout.
As domestic economic activity and imports improve, the ADB research predicts that revenue growth will accelerate. Due to expected increases in development investment and subsidies, it was revealed that expenditures are anticipated to grow in FY22.
