ADB to Offer $2 Billion to Pakistan under 3-year Strategy
Under its three-year Country Partnership Strategy, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) would grant $2 billion to Pakistan, as announced in Islamabad.

Tarin reassured Ye that the government is resolutely dedicated to pursuing inclusive and sustainable economic growth characterized by efficiency, productivity, and meritocracy.
In addition, the finance minister discussed the formulation of short-, medium-, and long-term plans under the auspices of the Economic Advisory Council (EAC), which has issued suggestions to implement structural reforms in 14 economic sectors over time.
In his remarks, the ADB national director discussed approving a $500 million vaccination support program for Pakistan, of which $314 million have already been disbursed.

Each of the three years of the three-year Country Partnership Strategy approved for Pakistan will provide $2 billion. In addition, the ADB is examining multiple approaches to support Pakistan through a single window.
In his final remarks, the finance minister praised the Bank’s assistance during difficult times and vowed to identify priority areas for enhancing the working relationship between the two parties.
