Allah-Hoo Chowk Remodeling Project Approved
According to news reports, Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General (DG) Mr. Ahmad Aziz Tarar approved the redesign of the Allah-Hoo roundabout on Khayaban-i-Firdausi to alleviate the city’s traffic issues.

The project would cost a total of PKR 96.036 million and will encompass a 4-kilometer corridor between Allah-hoo Chowk and Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
In accordance with the project’s specifications, the Allah-Hoo roundabout will be replaced by a pedestrian bridge. In addition, a 4-kilometer-long corridor running to and from the intersection will be redesigned and made signal-free, and the road’s four U-turns will be redesigned and widened.

In addition, the approved plan includes the following elements:
• Redesigning and expanding the three U-turns at Jagawar Chowk, Mahmood Chowk, and Ashiq Chowk.
Before Shouq Chowk, a U-turn will be constructed to handle traffic from Faisal Town.
• The maximum speed restriction for commercial vehicles on the route will be 40 km/h, while the limit for small cars will be 50 km/h.
