Allottees Demand Ownership of Regi Model Town Plots
The Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) has been requested by the Federation of Realtors of Pakistan to allow plot owners in Regi Model Town here to take ownership of their properties.

Despite work beginning 25 years ago, the project still hasn’t been finished, according to the patron-in-chief of the federation Sirajul Haq Yousafzai.
He said that owners of plots in zone 1 were unable to take control of them because of a dispute between the PDA and a portion of the Afridi tribe.
He emphasized that although zone 4 of the municipality was home to almost 35% of the township’s residents, there was no mosque there. He said the zone 3 has only two mosques.

Residents in Hayatabad Township, according to Mr. Yousafzai, also had a number of issues and wanted their resolution.
Before to building any new township in the provincial capital, he urged that the government give Regi and Hayatabad townships some consideration.
