Almost 5 million Chinese will Find Work in Pakistan by 2025

Officials forecast that by 2025, approximately 5 million Chinese people will be employed in Pakistan, a symbol of China’s growing influence.

During an interview with the relevant official, a leading Pakistani public health specialist stated that the China Pakistan Health Corridor is the only solution to satisfy the health needs of these employees (CPHC).

Chinese companies would invest USD 15 billion in Pakistan’s petrochemical industry.

Observers feel that this is an attempt by Beijing to expand its presence in Pakistan.
