Anti-Encroachment Drive on Cards for Peshawar Plan’s Execution
According to news reports, Peshawar Division Commissioner Riaz Khan Mehsud presided over a meeting that resolved to begin a comprehensive anti-encroachment operation in the city to ensure the successful implementation of the Peshawar Revitalization Plan.

During this meeting, the commissioner was updated on the implementation of the Peshawar Revitalization Plan. The meeting also resolved that all relevant departments will concurrently perform a large-scale anti-encroachment operation.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Gul Bano has been chosen as the point of contact, and the Revenue Department has been tasked with conducting a survey to identify the encroached state land and submitting a report within one week.

In addition, the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA), town administrations, and district administrations have been instructed to continue the operation in locations where illegally inhabited properties have been detected.
