APCMA Reports 24.3% Growth in Cement Sector
Karachi: According to news sources, cement sales in April 2021 increased by 24.3% due to increased activity in the construction industry.
Domestic sales increased to 4.066 million tons this year compared to 3.271 million tons in the same month last year. Similarly, exports also showed a significant increase (252%), raising him to 877,163 tonnes compared to last year’s exports of 249,127 tonnes.

According to statistics, a cement factory in northern Pakistan reported 155 times from he 1,609 tons to he 250,072 tons in one year. Exports from factories based in the South also showed an increase of 153. 35% ie H. from April 2020 to April 2021 from 247,519 tons to 627,091 tons.
According to figures released by the All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (APCMA), cement consumption in the domestic market combined with exports to other countries increased by 40.41% in one year.

Cement exports are also expected to grow further to over 9 million tonnes by the end of 2021, he added.
