Auditorium at Harappa Museum Initiated
Sahiwal: At the Harappa Museum, Governor Chaudhry Sarwar opened an auditorium. The provincial archaeology and tourism departments jointly funded the auditorium, which cost Rs 300 million.

The governor remarked that the auditorium would enhance the historic site and modernise it for both local and foreign tourism. He claimed that it will also provide visitors the chance to virtually experience the 3,500–5,000 BC Harappan culture.
He claimed that to make the theatre more appealing to travellers, a gift store and a tourist information centre had also been added.
The governor claimed that the PTI administration was hard at work developing a new tourism strategy to safeguard archaeological monuments, particularly those connected to the Indus Civilization.

He said that initiatives were being taken to add Harappa to the UNESCO World Heritage List. He said that funding had been made available for the construction of an overhead bridge close to the Harappa Train Station to give visitors easy access to the museum.
