Bill Moved to Declare California and Punjab Sister States
Lahore: According to media sources, a measure designating California and Punjab as sister provinces has been introduced in the California State Assembly. During Chaudhry Sarwar, the governor of Punjabformal ,’s visit to the California State Assembly, the measure was presented.

During his visit, the governor got to know the Speaker of the California State Assembly as well as other officials and representatives. Asif Mahmood, a Democrat, and Abdul Jabbar, the consul general in Los Angeles, accompanied the governor.
According to Mr. Sarwar, there are numerous chances for Punjab and California to work together in the areas of technology, agriculture, health, and education.

Chaudhry Sarwar added that the two provinces will benefit from one another’s experiences and expressed his gratitude for the California State Assembly’s decision. He continued by saying that this action would bring Punjab into a new era of prosperity and economic expansion.
