Billion Tree Campaign Yielding Incredible Results
Swat: The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, uploaded a brief video of the ‘desolate hills in Swat becoming green’ to illustrate his claim that the one billion tree programme was delivering astounding results.
Prime Minister Imran recently stated that Pakistan must reach its goal of planting 10 billion trees in order to preserve future generations and play its proper role in minimising global warming.

The prime minister described the expansion of mangrove forests as a positive sign for the nation. He stated that no other forests had experienced comparable expansion.
Pakistan will take the lead in addressing global warming and carbon emission concerns.

If the green cause is ignored now, the country would reach a point of no return, he warned.
As the ruling party observed ‘Tiger Force Day’ in August of last year, the prime minister launched the greatest tree-planting initiative in Pakistan’s history.
