Bisham TMA Requested to Repair Solar Panels in Bazaars
Shangla: The majority of Bisham’s solar panels have been out of commission for the past two years, which has caused issues for vendors and consumers in the markets at night. Bisham residents have asked the government to get the panels fixed.

Many from all sections of the district traveled to Bisham during Ramadan to purchase for Eid, but the city was in the dark due to the defective solar panels, they informed the media.
Local resident Sadam Hussain claimed that he and his friends had traveled to Bisham for the purpose of shopping but that the main markets, including those along the Karakoram Highway, were entirely black and that solar panels set up by the tehsil municipal administration were ineffective.

A dealer named Islam Mohammad claimed that while people went out to shop at night during Ramadan, they were constantly complaining about the bad solar panels, which made them feel unsafe.
At the bazaars at night, he claimed, private watchmen were on duty. While the solar panels were working, their job was simple, but now they had to spend the entire night going to every shop, he continued.

Rehbar Ali, a different dealer, claimed that despite repeated requests to TMA authorities, they refused to fix the solar panels due to financial issues.
