Budgets for MDA, WASA Approved
The 88th governing body of the Multan Development Authority (MDA) approved annual budgets of Rs 5.534 billion for the MDA and Rs 5.648 billion for the Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa).

The conference approved a 10% rise in ad hoc salary relief at the instruction of the provincial administration, as well as a 10% increase in pensions for retired MDA and Wasa personnel.
In addition, Rs 2 billion had been budgeted for the relocation of the iron market, grain market, and truck stand from their current positions, and Rs 1.232 million had been budgeted for non-development expenses, including salaries.

For the ongoing development schemes of the authority, Rs 256.128 million were allocated, while Rs 30 million were designated for the construction of Vehari Road from BSG Chowk to Double Phattak and Rs 150 million were designated for the construction of Khanewal Road from Eidgah Chowk to Chowk Kumharanwala.
For the building/repair of the roadways in Fatima Jinnah Phase-1 and Phase-II, New Shah Shams Colony, Model Town Phase-1, Phase-II, and Phase-III, as well as the construction of the flyover at Madni Chowk, Rs 1.244 billion was allotted.
