CAA Set to Announce UK-Like Pilot Licensing System
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has finished the steps necessary to set up a pilot license and examination system similar to that in the UK.

To obtain final clearance for the installation of a modern license system adapted from the British civil aviation authority, the aviation authorities will send a report to the federal cabinet in a few days.
The licenses of Pakistani pilots will be recognised globally thanks to the British system for conducting pilot examinations and other procedures. Along with preserving openness, the new method will help Pakistan address ICAO’s concerns and raise the bar for pilot licenses granted by the CAA.
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) biometric system would be connected to the pilot licensing and exam systems, according to CAA.

It is important to note that a PCAA Universal Safety Oversight Audit (USOA) team from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on July 5.
