Cattle Market to Be Established Along Chakri Road
A cattle market will be set up along Chakri Road in Rawalpindi by the Rawalpindi Cattle Market Management Corporation as a trial. If traders and locals continue to use the market after three months, it will be made permanent.
Participants in the 23rd meeting of the company’s board of directors, presided over by retired captain and commissioner Mohammad Mehmood, were notified of this.

The meeting’s attendees were informed that the market’s location has been determined and will be formally announced once the required legal procedures have been completed. The Gondal Cattle Market in Attock is also being enlarged by the purchase of an additional 90 kanals of land, increasing the market’s size to 170 kanals.
The Cattle Market Management Company’s employees will have offices set up in shipping containers in the Chakwal and Dina cattle markets. He claimed that an increase in revenue would give merchants and the general public the best facilities possible.

The meeting’s agenda items, including the salaries of employees paid on a daily basis, were thoroughly discussed.
