CBD, RRUDP Progress Briefed by PM
Mr. Prime Minister convened a meeting in Islamabad to examine the status of the infrastructure projects. The status reports include the Ravi Riverfront Waterfront Development Project (RRUDP), the Expressway, and the Central Business Districts.

Mr. Minister was concerned about the completion of the real estate developments that are contributing to the growth of the city. He further noted that these projects are assisting in the transformation of state-owned property into multibillion-dollar enterprises. These initiatives will satisfy the needs of the expanding population and generate employment opportunities.

Furthermore, Mr. Minister believes that these real estate developments contribute to the growth of the city and should be completed as soon as possible. Prime Minister Khan disclosed that seven mixed-use commercial sites in Downtown Lahore will be auctioned off to encourage investment. Plans for the CBD include the construction of Burj-al-Jinnah, Pakistan’s highest skyscraper. Walton Airport is commemorated by two luxury residential towers in Bab-e-Pakistan, a 500-bed hospital, CBD Square, the Walton Road Flyover, and the Aviation Museum.
