CDA Approved Layout Designs of Five Mega High-Rises Structures
Islamabad: According to a news report, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has accepted the layout designs of five multi-story buildings for the capital, including the first-ever 36-story residential skyscraper of its sort in the city.
The Design Vetting Committee (DVC) of the CDA reportedly accepted the abovementioned plans for the five multi-storeyed development projects, which together total one million square feet.

The member planning chairmanship served as the meeting’s chair. But, the Civil Aviation Authority must approve the construction of the 36-story high-rise in Islamabad (CAA).
On Plot No. 08 in Sector F-10 Markaz in Islamabad, Pakistan’s tallest residential building of 36 stories will be built. Also, it was stated that 11,750 square feet, or 70%, of the project area, would remain green.
The remaining multi-story mega projects’ specifics are as follows:
- There will be a 14-story building constructed at Plot No. 13 in Sector G-11-3.
- The development of a 5-story structure is planned for Plot No. 13 in Sector F-7.
- It is intended to construct a 5-story structure at Plot No. 12 on IJP Road.
- In Plot No. 64 in the Sector F-10 Markaz, another five-story skyscraper will be constructed.
A school, two commercial projects, as well as two residential complexes, were also approved at the DVC meeting.

According to the source, landmark buildings in Islamabad with 26 stories each, The Centaurus and One Constitution Venue, have established the standard for tall structures.
