CDA Breaks All Previous Records in 3-Day Auction of Plots
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) concluded its three-day property auction on Thursday, with the sale of 42 plots bringing in an amazing sum of Rs. 41 billion.

The CDA has broken a record with this sale, despite the nation’s severe economic difficulties. The previous auction, which was held in conjunction with the 2021 amnesty programme, brought in Rs. 37 billion for the CDA.
But in the most recent auction, the agency broke its own record by earning Rs. 41 billion, much outpacing the previous amount.

A senior CDA official stated in an official statement that the three-day auction resulted in the highest-ever sale of 42 plots of various sizes for Rs. 40.9 billion.
According to the representative, the estate, planning, and finance departments worked together to ensure the auction’s success.

He gave credit to CDA’s Planning Wing for offering plots in prime locations with advantageous planning parameters, which the Estate Wing then successfully sold. The auction’s impressive results as a result of this.

Here it should be noted that the CDA had first forecast that the three-day auction would bring in Rs. 20 billion, but to its surprise, the event received a huge reaction from investors, culminating in a final total of Rs. 41 billion.
