CDA Chief Satisfied With the Speed of Work on Margalla Highway
During a visit to the Margalla Highway project site, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Noor-ul-Amin Mengal and the Director General of the Frontier Work Organization (FWO), Major General Kamal Azfar, were pleased with the rate of progress.

Both cops travelled the entire length of the route between Sangjani and D-12.
The chairman stated that the FWO was scheduled to complete the work on this stretch of the road within a year, but he believes they will do it by the end of this year.
During the visit, the CDA chairman was briefed on the FWO’s ongoing work on this section of road.
The CDA chairman stated that physical work has begun on the 10-kilometer-long Segment-1, which extends from G.T. Road to Sector D-12.
Currently, construction has begun concurrently on road structures and will soon be expanded to other road segments.

The chairman of the CDA stated that the preliminary survey of the second phase – from the edge of Constitution Avenue to Murree Road after bypassing Bhara Kau – has already been completed, and that FWO teams are now working on the comprehensive design of this section.
