CDA Completes Operation Against Encroachment on Margalla Hills
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has concluded its three-day campaign against encroachment in the Margalla Hills.

Recent reports indicated that Prime Minister Imran Khan ordered the CDA to remove all encroachments from Margalla Hills. The CDA thereafter conducted minor operations in the highlands, but the most of its operations were done in the Talhar region.
Five individuals were arrested for protecting the construction site, where pieces of land were being carved out in response to his directive.
According to sources, there are around 4,000 kanals of land in this region that belongs to locals or those who purchased it from them; nevertheless, this property is not suitable for construction.

Several land squatters have been arrested and put into custody, according to a news release, and the CDA has been engaged in constant operations against unlawful encroachments and structures, resulting in the recovery of land worth billions of rupees.
