CDA, FWO Officials Visit Project Site in Alipur Farash
According to press accounts, senior officials from the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) visited the construction site of the Alipur Farash low-cost housing project in Islamabad.
The Naya Pakistan Housing & Development Authority (NPHDA) and CDA are partners in the construction of 2,400 affordable housing units in the federal capital city. The plan stipulated that 400 of these flats would be allocated to Katchi Abadi locals, while the remaining units would be made available to the general public.

According to the briefing, 1,000 employees are now engaged in construction work, with the number expected to expand to 3,000 to 4,000 in the following months to expedite the project and assure timely completion.
Moreover, the website provided the following updates:
- 26 blocks have been uncovered in all.
- The raft was built in two sections.
- A steel cage for sixteen columns has been constructed.
- Twenty-one areas have Lean implementation.
- More than sixty percent of the site’s soil preparation for road construction is complete.
- A quality testing facility has been created on-site to save time and maintain track of the building’s quality.
