CDA, FWO to Jointly Work On Rawal Dam Flyover
ISLAMABAD, May 19, 2022- The Islamabad Capital Development Authority has teamed up with the Frontier Works Organization to complete the project on schedule by September. The project will be started in May, in order to meet this deadline.
As part of a risk mitigation effort, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and CDA decided to collaborate with FWO for Rawal Dam Flyover project as it needs to be completed in four months. The decision was made following the prime minister’s visit; Rawalpindi district executive engineer Sheikh Zulfiqar Ali reported that work had already begun on the paving for the slip road to Serena Hotel. In addition, he said that FWO would collaborate with the CDA in order to meet the time constraint.
