According to the disclosed information, the Health Services Ministry’s Malaria Control Directorate expressed worries about possible health risks related to inappropriate garbage disposal, especially in light of illnesses like dengue and malaria. For this reason, this action was taken.

The Ministry highlighted the spread of illicit junkyards in several parts of the city, such as Soan Garden, G-7/1, G-7/2, G-7/3, and H-10, in a letter dated February 7. These junkyards, which frequently hold things like old mineral water bottles and plastic drums that hold water, make perfect breeding grounds for mosquitoes that spread dengue, endangering the health of locals.
