CDA Orders Speedy Completion of Two Road Projects
Islamabad: The Capital Improvement Authority (CDA) has ordered the completion of the two ongoing development projects on Islamabad Expressway as quickly as possible.

According to a CDA representative, work on the PWD underpass and expansion of Korang Bridge is now underway, and the underpass will be completed in July and the bridge expansion will be completed in December of this year.
He added that the civic agency has submitted a letter to Wapda and SNGPL requesting that their 16-inch pipelines be moved away from the project locations to ensure timely completion.
Despite the third wave of the coronavirus epidemic, the CDA is making all-out efforts to complete the ongoing initiatives, according to him.

He stated that the restoration of road infrastructure and the construction of new roads, avenues, ways, and bridges were receiving special attention. “From Koral to T. Chowk, two extra lanes will be added to the motorway,” he stated. He stated that the speed of continuing construction on the PWD underpass had been accelerated.
