CDA Reestablishes 74% Streetlights in The Capital
Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) recently reported that it has finished the restoration of 80 percent of traffic signals, and 74 percent of the streetlights, parks, and commercial hubs in the city, according to news sources.

The authority claimed in a formal statement that the project was evidence of its dedication to making the nation’s capital a lovely city.
Also, according to the authority’s official announcement, 60% of the lights in Sectors I, G, and F had been restored. Additionally, new, vibrant lights had also been erected in city underpasses and bridges.

The Expressway, Srinagar Highway, Jinnah Avenue, Margalla Road, 7th Avenue, 9th Avenue, and the commercial districts and roadways of sectors F-6, F-7, F-10, and G-10 all have streetlights that have been restored.
Also, lamps in the city’s business districts and along its roads now have LED lighting.

The CDA is currently striving to reduce its electricity usage, and efforts are being made to restore full functionality to the city’s remaining lights.
