NO-Objection by CDA to Privatization of Jinnah Convention Center
Earlier, a news source claimed that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has told the Ministry of Interior that it has no objections to the proposed privatization of the Jinnah Convention Centre (JCC) by the Ministry of Privatization.
Before releasing the JCC allotment letter, the CDA is reportedly awaiting the study report on the availability of water, energy from a grid, a solid waste management plan, a traffic impact assessment, and a report on the sewage treatment plant (STP).
In addition, CDA requested that the topic be presented to the prime minister or federal cabinet if the privatization commission is unable to provide the report.

The document went on to say that the CDA has not objected to the privatization commission’s proposal to convert the JCC from an amenity site to a commercial place. JCC is a public meeting space located at one end of Constitution Avenue where various government and private programs are held.
