CDA Scores 60% in Survey Held to Gauge Citizens’ Satisfaction
60 percent of Islamabad’s residents approve of the Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) performance, according to a survey conducted for that purpose.

The questions concerned the execution of the various development projects in terms of their transparency and performance. As many as forty percent of the participants expressed discontent with the outcomes and demanded additional improvements. The following is a further breakdown of the survey results:
- Sixty percent of respondents were satisfied with the questions regarding the maintenance of green areas in Islamabad and plant care.
- Sixty percent of people are satisfied with the CDA’s efforts to stop the occupation and encroachment of government property.
- 60% of respondents are satisfied with the repair of sidewalks and lane markings.
- 49% of respondents were pleased with waste disposal and prompt collection.
- The CDA has declared 58 brick kilns in Islamabad to be illegal.
- 77% of the population was pleased with the restoration and replacement of street lighting.
- 64% were pleased with the cleanliness
- 34% for road drainage and road maintenance
Moreover, CDA officials stated that the authority will take every measure possible to resolve issues related to the city’s development and enhancement.
