According to news reports, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) of Islamabad has approved more than 5,500 residential and commercial development proposals to stimulate the city’s building industry.

According to a CDA official, this is the highest number of approved plans in a short period of time. Moreover, he said that the Design Vetting Committee (DVC) meeting for commercial projects will take place on June 29. Before the conclusion of the fiscal year, the meeting will take place so that builders and developers can apply for announced incentives.

The civic administration has also revealed plans to construct a walk-through outdoor museum on Pakistan Monument that would illustrate the struggle that led to the nation’s establishment. The museum will exhibit images relating to the Pakistan movement. The project is anticipated to begin this August.
