CDA to Approve Development Plans for Sectors D-13, F-13 & E-13
Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) board, presided over by CDA Chairman Noorul Amin Mengal, will evaluate and approve the layout plans (LOPs) for three new residential sectors—F-13, D-13, and E-13.
According to sources, CDA bought these sectors in 2008; however, the development work was delayed due to challenges acquiring land title.
To rectify this, CDA officials have decided to revise the LOPs with detailed topographic surveys. The modified LOPs for these three areas will now be presented to the CDA board for final approval, claims a town planner.

It is important to note that after the LOPs are authorised, the estate and land wings will start allotting properties to local landlords, and the engineering wing will take the necessary steps to commence development activities.
A CDA official further said that these sectors, which will encompass over 13,000 plots, including commercial ones, are expected to generate a sizeable amount of revenue for the CDA.

The organization’s budget plan for the upcoming fiscal year 2023–2024 will also be finalized by the CDA board. Both development and non-development projects are projected to receive funding totaling about Rs. 150 billion.
