CDA to Award Contract for Park Road Widening and Maintenance
ISLAMABAD, December 22, 2022- The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to give the contract for widening and fixing up Park Road soon.
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has planned to award the contract for widening and repairing Park Road soon now that the Rawal Dam Interchange has been completed. According to CDA’s engineering section representatives, government-run businesses have been invited to submit proposals in compliance with regulation 42(F) of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority. According to the officials, the bid will be submitted to the CDA chairman for approval after all legal procedures have been satisfied. The CDA will issue orders for the project to begin in earnest as soon as the offer is accepted.

The renovation will be completed in six months, according to the specifics. Park Road will be improved and widened as part of the project from Rawal Chowk to Tramari Chowk. According to PC-1, the existing lanes will be fixed, and one additional lane will be added on each side, making the entire road three lanes. It has been difficult for people to enter and exit the 7.4 kilometer-long road. According to the news source, the road in question has two lanes and is in poor condition. Therefore, improving Park Road will address the traffic issue.
