CDA to Setup 4400 Apartments for Homeless People
The board of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to build 4400 dwellings for the capital city’s homeless population.

The board resolved to create the Metropolitan Police, and Margla Avenue, ITN, IGP Road, and 10th Avenue building projects will be sent to the Federal Government for approval.
In light of the High Court ruling, the board has resolved to regularise all daily wage and contract employees who match the eligibility requirements.
Amir Ali Ahmed presided over the inaugural meeting of the CDA’s newly elected board, which was recently conducted in the committee room of the organization’s headquarters.
The CDA Board resolved to request clearance from the Federal Government for the project involving the construction of motorways including Margla Avenue, ITN, IGP Road, and 10th Avenue.
The topic of Green Restaurant Café Shops at F-9 Park was also covered at the meeting. The Board also resolved to begin this project under the direction of well-known painter and F-9 Park designer Nayyar Ali Dada.

Initially, for this reason, 50 Islamabad Police employees would be taken on deputation for the current 50 posts in the CDA’s strength. They will receive specific uniforms and rewards for serving employees in addition to training. The force will have the ability to protect foreign residents, popular tourist spots, trails, and act as a first responder.
