ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has withdrawn the approved layout plan of Tele Town Housing Scheme in Zone-5, Islamabad, after the developer reportedly failed to meet the conditions attached to the approval.
According to a public notice issued by the CDA’s Directorate of Housing Societies, the 499.50-kanal housing scheme, sponsored by Tele Town (Pvt.) Ltd., received layout plan approval on March 24, 2023, subject to specific requirements.

The authority stated that it issued multiple notices to the developer between March 2023 and November 2024, directing the company to fulfil the outstanding conditions. The developer was also given further opportunities in May and December 2025 to explain why the approval should not be withdrawn.
However, the CDA said the required compliance measures were not taken. Consequently, the authority withdrew the layout plan with immediate effect under the applicable Islamabad zoning and private housing scheme regulations.
The decision highlights the importance of verifying the approval status of housing societies before investing in residential plots or other properties. The CDA has advised prospective buyers to confirm the relevant approvals and No Objection Certificate (NOC) status directly with the authority.

The public notice also cautioned developers, builders, advertisers, and real estate agents against unauthorized development and construction, warning that violations could result in legal action.
Prospective buyers and existing stakeholders in Tele Town should consult the CDA for official information about the scheme’s current regulatory status and any subsequent decisions. The authority has also warned that it will not be responsible for consequences arising from purchases made in schemes lacking the required approvals.
